Main Station, Bern
The refurbishment of the main station in Bern at the beginning of the 21st century included the construction of new walkways at the western entrance. Because of its flowing shape the ensemble is called the "Welle von Bern", or Bern Wave. It came into use at the end of 2004. It is used by up to 50,000 passengers a day.
