DVD Architecture in Switzerland
The hallmark of Swiss architecture is the great variety of buildings of high quality stretching from the mountains to the plateau. Three DVDs and one CD-ROM examine the history of Swiss architecture from 1800 to the present to show how this "Quality in Variety" came about.
The DVDs include descriptions, analyses and opinions contributed by specialist journalists and covering 16 outstanding examples of architecture in Switzerland. These are complemented by photo galleries, drawings, short films and portraits of Swiss architects. There is also a list of useful links, a bibliography and illustrated glossary.
