Ursula Andress (born 1936), of Ostermundigen, Bern, was catapulted to Hollywood fame following her role in the James Bond movie, "Dr No". The famous bikini she wore in this 1962 film became the most expensive in the world when it was auctioned in London in 2001 and sold for 98,700 Francs.

Her numerous other films include "What's New, Pussycat?", "The Blue Max" and the 1967 film parody "Casino Royale".
