At home

What are your living arrangements?
In the Old City of Bern, directly on the River Aare.  I live alone in a large, open-plan flat (55m2). It is in an old house with a terrace and a garden. The other people who live in the house know me, and I know them.   

How would you describe your home?
A mix of old and new, cheap and expensive, vintage and practical. The most important piece of all is my comfy bed.


Style

What is your favourite piece of clothing?
A black, knee-length, loose-fitting, crew-neck, t-shirt dress (from H&M).

How would your friends describe you?
It can vary: from happy, loves life, chatty, sensitive, compassionate to a bit of a loner and  a slacker…


Food

What’s in your fridge?
Milk, butter, mineral water, fruit juice, ketchup, mustard, jam, capers, cheese, lemon juice, pesto, soya sauce and prosecco.

What’s your favourite food?
Dampfnudeln (yeast dumplings) and apricot sauce, thai curry.

What is your favourite Swiss specialty?
Rösti served with a fried egg.


On the move

How do you mostly get around (train, bike etc.)?
Train and walking

How do you spend your spare time?
With friends, reading and being outdoors as much as possible, going for a swim or a walk.

But I also like watching TV, drinking coffee, chatting and sleeping.

What do you particularly appreciate about Switzerland’s art and culture scene?
Going for a swim in the River Aare, surrounded by beautiful mountains and water.
