Switzerland is also a popular location for film makers from elsewhere. In particular, many Bollywood movies make use of the spectacular Swiss scenery. The Indian film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which ran for a record 500 weeks, was made almost entirely in Switzerland.

A famous Swiss location success was the Schilthorn, renamed Piz Gloria for the occasion, which featured in the early Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
